zelie + andrew

before zelie (with the cool name) and i met many moons ago, her dad was forever telling both of us that we each reminded him of the other (does that make sense?!). when we finally did meet we were both like “whatever”! (whilst editing the wedding i suspect our big smiles might have something to do with it). but in that first meeting we totally hit it off.

a few years and some more adventures later, they now have two sweet kids. i was honoured that they wanted me to take part in their south west wedding at the very private and lovely sundance lodge. they did everything themselves, with the help of family and friends. zelie’s creative vision was brought to life by andrew’s practical skills- he even cut the holes in the book for the rings! it was one great party by the lake, with a lunar eclipse showing up and some fantastic words spoken.

i could only hope to be like zelie and andrew- they are adored, generous, fun and talented.
